At Urban Saints, we believe in giving young people quality time. In a society that demands quick fixes and fast change, we want to provide an antidote of face-to-face, relational, space-providing youth work.

We want to build youth work that lasts.

Our priority is to invest deeply in our volunteers, to make sure they have all they need to make a lasting difference in current and future generations of young people.

We are on a mission to equip and mobilise a movement of volunteers who see a young generation in desperate need and say, “Count me in. I can help”.

We recognise that working with young people is not always straightforward, but we believe that, given the right support and help, almost anyone can work alongside young people. Whether you can run a games session, make young people feel at ease, lead a discussion, organise a tuck shop, do some admin or provide regular prayer, we would love you to join us in seeing young people grow in confidence, character and faith.

STEP 1

STEP 2

Join a Group

It's all about belonging to a team and sharing lasting relationships. So, let's get you started with a local Urban Saints' Group. You can view the nearest Urban Saints' Group(s) to you by looking at our Group Map and entering your postcode when prompted to do so. Our Team will help you get connected with a Group local to you and help you make arrangements for joining their team.

If there's no Group local enough to you, maybe you could think about gathering a team together to start one of your own? The Urban Saints team can help you every step of the way - why not get in touch?!

STEP 3

Train to be a Leader

Get equipped as a Leader or Helper and start making young disciples for Jesus. Every new Group goes through several weeks of initial training and as a member of a new Group leadership team, you will get this opportunity too. If you are joining a team as a new volunteer, the Group Leaders will arrange to take you this same training before you get involved.

We are passionate about ensuring all our volunteers are trained and ready to serve before they get stuck in to the task of making disciples for Jesus.
