Cae Canol - Your Next Youth Residential?

11th Jan 2024

If you’re searching for the perfect surroundings to take young people to, where the Gospel can be presented in a safe and resourceful environment, then the Cae Canol Centre in Snowdonia could be what you're looking for.

Snowdonia gives young people a sense of awe at God’s creation: Star gazing, late-night walks to Beddgelert, the beach at Black Rock Sands, mini mountain walks and a trip to Porthmadog to name a few.

Can you imagine playing hide and seek amongst several acres of woodland, exploring local history or visiting caves and the Ffestinog Railway? Or maybe your young people would prefer to take a swim at the local pool, go sight-seeing and play beach games amongst the sand dunes?

Cae-Canol is guaranteed to be the perfect adventure for enthusiastic young people to make long-lasting memories with their friends.

Chairman Howard Jones says  “A weekend away with the young people somewhere like Cae Canol can be worth more than a whole term of meetings! Barriers get broken down, friendships made, and trust developed between young people and leaders. It’s a great opportunity to share fun times, and the conversations that start when walking alongside a small group on a hike can be really fruitful.”

It’s not surprising that most of the groups that visit Cae-Canol come back again and again.

Still not convinced? Then there is a volunteer work party every other month where leaders get together for either the day or an overnight stay.

This gives an opportunity for you to explore the venue and ask questions to those leaders experienced in bringing their groups to Cae-Canol.
